Here they are, the stars. For a long time I wanted to create a collection that would be very functional and in colors that are calmer and in the same time popping out. All the stars (except the ones on the grey starred draw string bag) are hand stenciled with quality fabric colors.
All the items are made with sturdy canvases in grey and off white color.

So what can you find in this collection:

I was working on a new design today. This came out. I love this bag, it is made out of the lightest yet strong fabric that is special in it's texture and has a delicate feel. The bag is richly pleated and very roomy. What do you think? To use this design with other colors as well?

Preizkušala sem nove oblike in velikosti. Tole je prišlo na plan. Torba se mi zdi krasna, ravno pravšnja za poletne radosti.  Narejena je iz najlahkotnejšega ampak močnega blaga, ki je poseben po svoji strukturi in prefinjenosti. Torba je bogato nagubana in ima v sebi veliko prostora. Kaj pravite, naj jo naredim še v drugih barvah?

Remember my newly bought fabrics? Here is another custom order that was sent as a birthday gift from one Pikula fan to another (I'm feeling so honoured). The birthday girl will be able to wear it in a variety of different ways. And the fabric is sooo amazing!

Se spomnite nedavno kupljenega blaga? Tu je nov clutch, narejen za rojstni dan. Narocilo ene oboževalke Pikul za drugo oboževalko Pikul (uh, kakšna čast zame). Obdarovanka bo lahko nosila tole valovitko na veliko različnih načinov. Blago je pa tako zelo lepo.
Poglejte si nakit Shelly Dahari. Čudovito. Ravno šivam torbice, ker imam kmalu sejem v Shellyini trgovini v Tel Avivu. Komaj čakam.

Pikula and JUL

I promised to tell you about the little project Julia and I were cooking some time ago. Here is a little sneak peek into the work process of our limited purse and bag line, that will be launched next Friday (25.5.2012) in Jul's studio in Tel Aviv! I am so excited, and the fabrics that Julia chose for this project are so fresh and yes, it's a totally different input into Pikula's creations. Next week you will see them all.

Pred casom sem omenila, da imava Julija in jaz za bregom en mali skupni projekt. Nova, omejena linija torbic, Pikula in JUL, bo prvic predstavljena v petek 25.5.2012 v studiu Jul v Tel Avivu.
Julijina izbira blaga je popolna svezina in novost za Pikulino dosedanje delo, meni pa so kajpada se posebej vsec konjeniske.
