I made a small collection of purses for girls. My daughter loves them! They are a perfect fit for a phone, a key and a 20 shekels bill (or a few euro coins). Each of them has a fabric strap that can be tucked inside the purse when not in use. You can see more details here.

Moja Mikca me ze nekaj casa prosi, naj naredim torbice za punce. In sem jih. Mika ima najrajsi tisto s pikami. Super so za telefon ali majhno igraco, kljuc in par kovancev. Potem pa na ramo in gremo v svet. Vec detajlov tukaj.

Prva ima obliko in kupcek na zadnji fotografiji ima vse barve, ki jih z veseljem potegnes iz vsake malo bolj umirjene velike torbe.

I received a bunch of custom made orders lately and thought to share the projects with you. The first blue swirls satchel bag is on the way to Slovenia, the second iPad mini cover with handles (!!) is on the way to US and the last, pear shaped fold over purse is a prototype of a new design I am working on. It still needs a neat short handle attached to that gorgeous circular frame, but I so much love the size of it and the ways you can carry it. It has a zippered pocket on the outside and a slip pocket that closes with a magnet snap. In the inside there's a roomy slip pocket.
Besides, check out Tlv Birdie blog where Pikula's typewriter cover is featured. Olya, the owner of the blog, is wearing that clutch next to my favorite VW van!

V zadnjem času prejemam veliko naročil za posebne torbice in rezultate sem želela deliti tudi z vami. Prva modra je na poti v Slovenijo, druga iPad mini torbica (z ročaji!!) potuje v Amerikoin zadnja, hruškasta, ki se jo da prepogniti je še vedno prototip nove oblike torbice, ki jo še razvijam. Še vedno naprimer potrebuje lep pašček, pritrjen na zaokrožen okvir. Všeč mi je velikost te torbice in načini na katere jo lahko nosiš. Na zadnji strani ima žep z zadrgo in na sprednji žep, ki se zapira in odpira z magnetkom. Znotraj ima en velik žep.
Poleg tega si poglejte Tlv Birdie blog, kjer je predstavljena Pikula iPad mini torbica s potiski starih pisalnih strojev. Olya, ustvarjalka bloga, jo nosi zraven meni zelo ljubega VW kombija.

japanese sewing books

I went crazy for Japanese sewing books lately. I had to order this Umami fabric bag book. The book is mainly in Japanese, but the patterns in the back are so well drawn that you can figure things out quite easy.
I love the clean and simple way of the designs.
Other than that, I am in the midst of workshop preparations, setting the dates, running around for supplies, catching up with orders and making new stuff. I had 2 of the workshops so far, still very excited, but it's so much fun and I love to teach.
Mekuftarot , a beautiful Israeli brand just started to sell my bags. Go and check it out...it's still all just in Hebrew, but the design, photos and typography are outstanding.

Obožujem japonske knjige o šivanju in ročnih delih. Tole knjigo sem si morala kupiti in že sanjam o tem, kako preplesti njihov enostaven in čist dizajn z eno od mojih uokvirjenih torbic. Knijiga je sicer napisana v japonščini, vendar pa dobra fotografija in detajlno narisani kroji pomagajo pri dokaj enostavnem razumevanju napisanega.
Poleg tega sem v vrtincu delavnic, pripravljanje, telefonski pogovori, iskanje sestavin in zraven šivanje rednih naročil in risanjem novih modelov. Do sedaj smo imeli že dve delavnici. Še vedno sem vsa ekstatična, ampak imamo se krasno in všeč mi je, ko lahko predam znanje naprej.
Mekuftarot (nerodno prevedeno - zagumbnjene), lepa izraelska znamka, je začela prodajati moje izdelke. Stran je še vedno le v hebrejskem jeziku, vendar so fotografije in oblika vredni ogleda.

Remember that vintage skirt that I received from my dear friend some time ago? Well, I had some time and made this cute little purse out of it. I tried really hard that the purse will still look kind of like a skirt; I left the skirt's side button and the zipper and transformed them into a pocket for your cell phone. Added a thin strap that can be hidden inside the purse and voila, you have a cool over sized skirt clutch purse. Closes with two strong magnet snaps and in completely lined with soft Italian fabric.

Se spomnite tiste podarjene zelene kikle? Imela sem čas (oziroma večer, ki se je nepričakovano nagnil v neprespano noč) in končno sešila tole nagubano malo torbico. Zelo sem se trudila ohraniti videz krila; stransko zadrgo in gumb sem spremenila v žep za telefon, dodala tanko, snemljivo/skrivljivo naramnico in dva močna magnetka. Ko skriješ naramnico v notranjost torbice dobiš krasno, preveliko klač kikla-torbico.

Fish pond clutch purse. Foldable and fits iPad. I can't get rid of the joy of looking into colorful accessories. I am still all in between making serious evening purses and sequins and silks and between colorful, funky and sometimes weird and quirky prints and shapes. Jonatan was a little sick the other day and all morning helped me in the studio. He's a good photographer too.

Ribnikasta torbička. Da se jo prepognit in vanjo gre tudi iPad . Ne morem se otresti veselja ob vsaki novi barvni torbici. Še vedno sem popolnoma med tem da delam zelo "resne" večerne torbice pa svila in bleščice in med tem da uživam ob barvnih, čudaških in kontrastnih printih in oblikah torbic. Jonatan je bil mičkeno z vročino in mi je cel dan pomagal v delovni sobi. Pa rad fotografira.
