I already wrote about kids being kings of the roads on this special day of the year here, but I couldn't help myself not to document it a bit better this year. It's kids with all the possible equipment riding their wheeled things all around the cities in this country on this very special day, parents easily strolling in the middle of the roads, pulling the smallest kids in the "bimbas" or pushing strollers with babies, putting picnic blankets on the sidewalks and enjoying the quiet. There are many people that fast, go to the synagogue, wearing white and pray intensively. It's a day to think about who they were in the last year and try to seek for forgiveness from people they've hurt. One day in a year when everything stops and people think of themselves and their closest only (or ride really fast on their bicycle down the street).
Mi smo drveli po mestu s kolesi, psom, vozičkom, bimbo, torbami in uživali v tišini. Si predstavljate vaše mesto en dan brez avtomobilov?
Caught also one Pikula on a bike. Lital's of course....it's the one she made almost on her own.
